Jiangsu Delegation Visits Tver Region to Explore Potential Business Cooperation

On November 20th, a delegation from Jiangsu Province of the People's Republic of China visited the Tver Region. The meeting, held at the "My Business" Center, was attended by Jia Yinke, Head of the Jiangsu Trade and Economic Representation in Russia and the CIS, Alexander Kalinkin, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Tver Region, Andrei Sokolov, Director of the Industrial Development Fund of the Tver Region, Vladislav Shorikov, President of the Tver Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as representatives from eight Chinese companies and local industrialists.

During the meeting, B2B negotiations were held, where the Chinese partners introduced their industrial capabilities. They shared information on various fields, including the development and production of active leisure products, automotive parts manufacturing, custom automated equipment for metalworking processes, mold sets, analytical tools and services, and electronic communication devices, among others.

The Tver region was represented by over 20 companies from various industries, including machinery, metalworking, wood processing, textiles, logistics, and tourism. Andrei Sokolov highlighted the region's active development in these sectors, supported by regional authorities and development institutions.

"Such business meetings bring significant benefits to the development of business and friendly relations," Sokolov emphasized, further expressing the Tver region's commitment to supporting the agreements made during the discussions.

This visit follows a previous trip in which Tver hosted a delegation from Liaoning Province, also engaging in B2B meetings and company visits. The ongoing dialogue between the two regions continues to foster long-term business opportunities.
